Job summary

State of Missouri in Missouri is seeking a dedicated APS Specialist II to investigate abuse and neglect, conduct home visits, and coordinate protective services. The role supports vulnerable seniors and adults with disabilities across multiple counties.

You will travel locally, participate in hearings and trainings, and may be required to be on-call. A Bachelor's degree is required, with relevant experience accepted in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Investigate reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of the elderly (60+) and disabled (18+).
• Conduct home visits to observe surroundings, interview victims and caregivers.
• Coordinate interventions and ongoing protective services needs.
• Be available for on-call rotation with team members.
• Travel locally to conduct visits, hearings and trainings; minimal overnight travel.
