Job summary

BTI Security is seeking a full-time security professional in the Bethesda area. The role focuses on patrolling, access control, and incident reporting to protect premises and people. Team members will operate surveillance, radio communications, and screening equipment as needed.

The ideal candidate will have two years of security experience, a valid Security Guard Card, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-service mindset for high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on premises.
• Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors.
• Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.
• Providing detailed reports on daily activities and/or incidents that may have occurred.
• Knowledgeable and able to effectively use magnetometer and X-ray machines.
• Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner.
• Performing CPR or first aid when needed.
• Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Project Manager.
