Job summary

Acuity International is recruiting for a protection and medical support role in Erbil to safeguard the client and team in high-threat settings. Responsibilities include convoys, motorcades, and QRF deployment, with advanced trauma care and stabilization provided on site.

Qualified candidates will have U.S. citizenship, an active/inactive NR EMT-paramedic, CPR/ALS/BLS credentials, and at least 3 years EMS experience at the AEMT/paramedic level. Travel overseas is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess active or inactive National Registry EMT-paramedic certification.
• Certification must be valid and active prior to deployment and throughout.
• Must possess CPR/Professional Rescuer or BLS/ACLS ILS/PHTLS credentials.
• Minimum 3 years EMS experience at AEMT or paramedic level.
• Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Must have a valid U.S. Passport with at least 6 months remaining.
• Shall be proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency medical care to Contractor personnel, COM personnel, and others as directed, including invasive and pharmacological interventions.
• Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions.
• Drive lead, principal's, or follow vehicles and act as a response agent during motorcade operations.
• Maintain protective formation positions during principal's walking movements.
• Participate in advance security preparations.
• Staff the security post at the principal's residence or other posts as required.
