Qualifications

  • 3–7 years in electrical protection or power systems preferred.
  • Experience with protective relays from SEL, GE, ABB, or Siemens.
  • Familiarity with ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, PSCAD, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement protective relaying schemes for generators and substations.
  • Configure protective relays for overcurrent, differential, and fault protection.
  • Perform protection coordination and short-circuit studies.
  • Develop relay settings and protection philosophies for facilities.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and energization activities.
  • Review one-line diagrams and interconnection documentation.
