International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is seeking a Protection and Emerging Technologies Officer based in Washington, D.C. to provide subject matter expertise on how new technologies affect civilians in conflict and to support the Protection team with surge capacity and strategy development.

The role reports to the Protection Coordinator and requires strong research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement across internal and external partners, with up to 15% travel and a hybrid

Qualifications

• 6 years of professional experience with 3–4 years in humanitarian, human rights or similar field.
