Qualifications

• Must have strong electrical/electronic theory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Installs protection and control facilities, tests and calibrates equipment for substation projects.
• Develops testing plans and maintains protective relaying equipment and SCADA systems.
• Monitors performance, analyzes fault data, troubleshoots, and recommends solutions.
• Writes procedures for P&C teams to ensure safe construction and maintenance.
• Provides technical direction to the transmission work center on system operations and fault analysis.
• Performs emergency protection system modifications and high voltage switching to restore service.
• Participates in ongoing personal technical development.
