The role focuses on protection technology platforms for electric transmission and substations, with leadership across AVANGRID’s Protection Engineering group and collaboration with global affiliates to enhance reliability and safety.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Theoretical engineering knowledge in planning, operations and design; analytic and calculation skills.
• Professional engineering license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide engineering design, estimating and analysis of transmission and substation protection systems.
• Coordinate system protection platform development including integration schemes and settings.
• Lead Protection Engineering group’s technical training and development.
