Responsibilities

• Operate screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, preventing them from being transported onto aircraft.
• Perform searches and screening, including physical interaction with passengers, bag searches and lifting or carrying bags up to 50 lbs.
• Control terminal entry and exit points and interact with the public, giving directions and answering inquiries.
• Maintain focus in a stressful environment to identify threats and make effective decisions in routine and crisis situations.
• Engage in continuous development of critical thinking to mitigate security threats and apply risk-based screening protocols.
