Ken Garff Honda Riverdale is hiring a Collision Repair Technician to perform frame straightening, panel repair and paint prep with attention to detail. You will review repair estimates, manage time, and ensure accurate restoration and safety systems.

The role requires basic reading skills and a valid Utah driver’s license, with training and certifications supported by the ProTech program. You’ll work in a team that values quality, accountability, and career growth, including paid training,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years previous relevant experience strongly preferred.
• I-CAR Certifications strongly desired.
• Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper-based.
• Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as patience, creativity, good judgment and an eye for detail.
• Valid in-state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review motor vehicle repair estimate reports.
• Straighten bent frames and unitized bodies with a frame machine.
• Remove badly damaged sections of vehicles and weld in new sections.
• Work out minor damage in body panels, fenders, skirting and sheet metal trim, and weld torn metal.
• Prepare car for paint by masking, apply primer, and paint.
• Repair and/or replace interior components and trim.
• Inspect vehicles for dimensional accuracy and test drive for alignment.
• Restore structural integrity by welding in new or recycled replacements.
• Align suspension and steering components.
• Ensure passenger protection systems function properly.
• Remove and install bolt-on components and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Apply or restore anti-corrosion treatments.
• Identify and remove layers of sub-coatings.
• Match complex color formulations created by manufacturers.
• Apply refinish products in correct sequence for adhesion and durability.
• Master Reynolds DMS for time keeping, work distribution, inspections, quotes and communication.
• Maintain tools and cleanliness, uphold 'leave no trace' standard.
