Art City Auto Body in Orem, UT is seeking an experienced Body Technician to repair collision-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will perform structural and non-structural repairs, align panels, and ensure safe, quality results.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with frame and measuring equipment, read repair orders, and uphold safety and OEM procedures. A steady work ethic, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Body Technician in a collision repair environment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair methods, and industry best practices.
• Experience using frame and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and estimates.
• I-CAR, ASE, OEM certifications, or willingness to obtain certifications is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and non-structural repairs on collision-damaged vehicles.
• Repair or replace damaged body panels, frames, and related components.
• Complete metal finishing, panel alignment, and body preparation work.
• Review repair plans and ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize measuring and diagnostic equipment to verify proper vehicle alignment.
• Work collaboratively with estimators, production staff, and painters to achieve repair timelines.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and all shop safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the repair process.
