Job summary

Prosthodontics is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor/Clinical to join the Department at the University of Connecticut, UConn Health School of Dental Medicine. This full-time position involves teaching various aspects of prosthodontics and overseeing clinical practice.

The ideal candidate will hold a DDS/DMD degree and have formal training in Prosthodontics. Board certification and experience in dental implant therapy are desirable. Candidates must also obtain a CT dental license.

Qualifications

• Must have a DDS/DMD degree and formal training in Prosthodontics.
• Board certification in prosthodontics is highly desirable.
• Experience in the surgical aspects of dental implant therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct predoctoral and resident/graduate students in prosthodontics.
• Engage in teaching and curriculum development within the Department.
• Oversee and support clinical practice in prosthodontics.

Skills

Teaching all phases of preclinical and clinical prosthodontics

Experience in surgical aspects of dental implant therapy

Digital dentistry procedures and workflows

Education

DDS/DMD degree

Formal training in Prosthodontics from an ADA/CDA accredited program

Board certification in prosthodontics
