Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, invites applications for a full-time Instructor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences with a focus on Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics to educate both predoctoral and postgraduate students.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and research, participate in clinical and didactic activities, and join an established program; the appointment is for one year (July 1–June 30) with renewal possible.

Qualifications

• Eligible for Pennsylvania state dental license or a Restricted Pennsylvania state dental license.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding a DScD, DMD or DDS.
• Ability to teach predoctoral and postgraduate students and conduct research in Prosthodontics.

Responsibilities

• Predoctoral and postgraduate clinical and didactic teaching in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics.
• Engage in research to advance the department's reputation nationally and internationally.
• Report to the Department Division Chief of Preventive and Restorative Sciences.
