Job summary

The Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine seeks applications for a full-time tenure or clinical track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Department of Prosthodontics and Endodontics. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical teaching in the pre-doctoral program with emphasis on Removable & Fixed Prosthodontics, and service to the University.

Qualifications

D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree required.
Specialty training in prosthodontics from a CODA-accredited program preferred.
Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Prosthodontics preferred.
MS degree preferred.
Demonstrated teaching and research experience desired.
Licensed to practice dentistry in Illinois or eligible for licensure.
Academic rank and salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Didactic and clinical teaching in the pre-doctoral program with emphasis on removable and fixed prosthodontics.
Service to the University and collaboration with other faculty.
Participation in graduate education as programs expand; expect advancement of the department's mission through innovation.
