Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation seeks a Resident Prosthetist to integrate patient assessment, treatment planning, and prosthetic fabrication under a clinical mentor. You will implement plans, provide prosthetic devices, and ensure follow-up outcomes while complying with regulations and ABC standards.
You will participate in continuing education, assist in inventory, and maintain records. This structured program gradually increases responsibilities under supervision.
A Resident Prosthetist is responsible for integrating their: patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of the treatment plan, follow-up and practice management skills for individuals in need of prosthetic management. They will complete their responsibilities in accordance with a physician prescription and under the supervision of a Clinical Preceptor/Mentor who has expertise in the field of Prosthetics. This role follows a structured program under the supervision of a mentor gradually increasing responsibilities.
