ForMotion Clinic in Fairfax, VA is hiring a Lab Technician-I to support fabrication, maintenance, and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices under clinician guidance. You’ll help ensure devices meet quality standards in a clean, safe lab.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving, with opportunities to grow your technical skills in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of hands-on technical experience.
• Comfortable with tools and physical labor.
• Available during clinic operating hours.
• Strong patient-first mindset and service orientation.
• Team-oriented with collaborative approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform lab tasks.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates basic orthotic/prosthetic devices as instructed.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on devices and tools.
• Tests devices for movement, alignment, and basic stability.
• Completes assigned work orders accurately and on time.
• Maintains organized, clean lab workspace and safety compliance.
