The incumbent is assigned as the Prosthetic Clerk, providing administrative support and coordination in support of the numerous and diverse functional areas within the clinic. The incumbent is assigned under the supervision of the Prosthetics Service Chief in support of all functions related to the day-to-day clerical operation duties of the Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Section. Confirming eligibility, preparing requisitions, purchasing items, greeting patients, and updating records. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 10/13/2026.

TYPING PROFICIENCY: This position requires the skills of a qualified typist. In addition to meeting the experience and/or education requirements, you must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. Some work may require movement between offices, hospitals, warehouses, and similar areas for meetings and to conduct work. Work may also require walking/standing, in conjunctions with travel to and attendance at meetings and/or conferences away from the work site. Incumbent may carry and lift light items weighing less than 15 pounds.
