Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Prospect Management Strategist to design and implement strategies for identifying, segmenting, and assigning prospects to boost fundraising outcomes.

You will partner with fundraising teams and analytics to improve donor management and portfolio performance while aligning with global development goals. Occasional travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related fundraising or prospect management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and leading teams.
  • Ability to create reports, analyze data, and communicate results to non-technical audiences.

## Prospect Management StrategistApply: Remote, USA: Full time: Posted Today: JR103997### **What We Can Achieve Together:** The Prospect Management Strategist works to implement strategies to support prospect identification, segmentation, and assignment recommendations and other related services for the Conservancy’s fundraising teams. The Prospect Management Strategist works at the intersection of the art and science of fundraising within the Prospect Management team and reports to the Director of Prospect Management within Global Development Division. This team is responsible for implementing strategies to support prospect identification, segmentation, and assignment recommendations and other related services for the Conservancy’s fundraising teams. The Prospect Management Strategist supports and promotes the strategic priorities of the Prospect Management team. They develop and implement processes and communication strategies to improve the quality and consistency of the organization's management of high potential donors and prospects.The Strategist collaborates with Business Unit fundraising staff, conducting portfolio reviews and consultations with fundraisers to help them achieve a healthy balance in their portfolios. They provide relevant information to support fundraising decision-making, problem-solving, and to improve fundraising workflows to enhance efficiency. In addition, they work closely with Prospect Management analytics staff to capture, analyze, and provide guidance on major gift prospect activity. The Strategist may require substantial collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to align approaches and optimize outcomes. The Strategist may take on additional duties to enhance the work of the team, such duties may include, but are not limited to, managing recurring processes regarding team outreach with Business Units, refining services to meet the needs of stakeholders, and/or enhancing the systems and tools used by the team. They analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions to improve effectiveness. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
