Job summary

The University of Michigan is seeking a Prospect Management Analyst to consult fundraising partners across the Ann Arbor campus to optimize donor portfolios through strategic reviews and tailored education.

You will advocate for data and prospect management policy, identify workflow efficiencies, and develop processes that bridge skill gaps to empower development teams. This hybrid role offers opportunities to influence across campuses.

Qualifications

One or more years of office experience with a bachelor's degree, OR 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated consulting capabilities, including the ability to convey complex concepts to different audiences, understand client needs, collaborate on creative solutions and provide excellent customer service.
Familiarity working in database systems and reporting tools, with intermediate or advanced spreadsheet skills.

50% Prospect Management Community Outreach - You will conduct strategic portfolio reviews to help fundraisers optimize donor engagement.
40% Data Management & Presentation - You will collect, analyze, and audit prospect data while maintaining strict confidentiality and policy compliance.
10% Administrative and Other - You will assist our team and organizational leadership with community-wide strategic initiatives and process improvements.

Job Summary

As the Prospect Management Analyst, you will consult fundraising partners across all three University of Michigan campuses to help optimize their donor portfolios through strategic review sessions and tailored education.
