Prospect Airport Services is seeking individuals to join our team as baggage handlers, assisting passengers with their baggage and resolving related issues. You will help load, unload, and route bags, ensuring proper tagging and safe handling in a fast-paced airport environment.

Job Summary

Responsible for handling incoming and outgoing passengers’ baggage, and promptly addressing any related concerns.

Job Duties

• Assist passengers with baggage pick-up, loading, unloading, and resolve issues with their delayed, lost, or damaged items.
• Set up conveyances to sort and distribute incoming bags.
• Scan and ensure, correct tagging and loading of each bag.
• Forward and receive bags to and from TSA.
• Take care of the safety scanner and other equipment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to constantly lift and carry up to and more than 70 lbs, push, pull, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend. Should be able to climb or crawl frequently.

Working conditions

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
