Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, seeks an Engineering Technician II to support the ASTROS Contract at AFRL. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and ability to handle varied assignments in a challenging environment, including extreme desert conditions.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Overtime and shift changes are common in this role.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in the workforce.
• HS Degree is required.
• Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment and take instructions from a more senior technician.
• Perform different assignments all throughout the day.
• Basic knowledge of building construction and components (HVAC, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and landscaping).
• Must have basic experience with mechanical systems.
• Receive daily instructions and provide feedback and complete work with minimal supervision.
• Wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment.
• Will be required to work overtime and/or work different shifts with little notice.
• Must place safety of self and others ahead of everything else and communicate deadlines clearly.
• Must have great customer service skills and communicate status of jobs.
