Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Engineer for the Energetics Manufacturing team at its Elkton, Maryland facility. The role involves reviewing requirements, developing safety protocols, and coordinating test instrumentation and data acquisition systems to support energetic propellant programs.

You will work with cross-functional teams, design and integrate test equipment, and train technicians while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 2+ years related experience or master's degree in STEM with 0+ years experience.
• Must be disciplined to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to create clear and understandable planning for operators.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements.
• Development and coordination of safety protocols.
• Design and integration of test equipment and instrumentation.
• Document the test process and data acquisition systems.
• Develop ordnance initiation process and support cross functional teams.
