Relativity Space is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer II to work on Terran R test stands and engines at our Long Beach and Stennis facilities. You will design and build high-energy test systems, operate test campaigns, and coordinate with engineers, technicians, and welders to advance flight readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering required.
• Ability to safely operate common power tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to production/launch locations.
• Driver’s license required for on-site work at test sites.

Responsibilities

• Design fluid and mechanical systems and test stands for Terran R.
• Operate test stands and monitor GUIs, telemetry, and cameras during tests.
• Prepare test articles for testing, including inspections and non-conformances.
• Develop GUIs, control automation, and data review processes for test campaigns.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and welders on-site to move testing forward.
