Job summary

Impulsespace is hiring a Propulsion Test Operations Engineer in Mojave, California. The role involves operating propulsion test facilities and conducting tests on methane/liquid oxygen systems.

You will be responsible for test operation, procedure development, and collaboration with design engineers. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of experience is required. The compensation range for the role is between $11,000 and $140,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience designing, operating, maintaining, or commissioning complex mechanical or fluid systems.
• Strong fundamentals in thermal fluid systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor engine and facility systems during test campaigns.
• Plan and execute tests for liquid rocket propulsion systems.
• Develop test procedures and configuration documentation.
