Job summary

Quantum Space is hiring a Senior Engineer III or Principal Engineer IV to lead propulsion systems development for next-generation Ranger missions. You will guide architecture, concept development, design, manufacturing, qualification, integration, and flight operations.

Ideal candidates have 7+ to 10+ years in aerospace propulsion, with proven leadership across complex spacecraft programs, and readiness to own technical direction and project execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams through major project milestones.
• Experience leading propulsion or spacecraft development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of propulsion systems from concept to flight qualification and operations.
• Provide technical leadership across design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, integration, and flight support.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical hardware on schedule and within program objectives.
