Job summary

Stellantis invites undergraduates to join the Propulsion Systems internship at the Auburn Hills HQ. You will contribute to design, development, calibration, and validation across engines, transmissions, batteries, and propulsion controls.

Expect hands-on experience, teamwork with industry leaders, and opportunities to return as a full-time hire. Based in Auburn Hills, you’ll work on-site 5 days per week May–August 2027, with relocation assistance possible for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher from ABET-accredited program in Mechanical, Electrical, Software or Automotive Engineering
• Able to work 40 hours per week during internship
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Willingness to relocate for internship, if applicable
• Completion of freshman year or higher by Spring 2027
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assist Propulsion Systems design, development, calibration and validation efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering challenges
• Support testing, analysis and reporting of project results
• Present project work to leadership and stakeholders
