Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or technical degree required.
• 8+ years of systems or test engineering experience across the life cycle.
• Experience with propulsion or space-related testing preferred.
• Proven ability to document processes and create on-floor work instructions.
• Experience with systems engineering on DoD or space programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualification requirements and robust test plans for verification.
• Provide technical leadership to the test team on static and propulsion tests.
• Lead verification activities including subscale testing and environmental tests.
• Standardize test processes and define CONOPs for high-risk processes.
• Coordinate outsourcing of testing with suppliers and customers.
• Develop new test capabilities at production facilities.
• Create and release work instructions and procedures.
• Present findings in safety reviews and test readiness reviews.
• Support prototyping, manufacturing and testing at facilities and supplier sites.
• Produce artifacts as contractual deliverables for stakeholder meetings.
