Job summary

Mercor is assembling a panel of propulsion and initiation systems experts to red-team frontier AI models. The goal is to test whether a model can correctly judge misuse potential while refusing genuinely dangerous requests.

You will write prompts across benign, dual-use, and adversarial levels, evaluate responses against a policy standard, and write the reference answer with the technical reasoning behind it.

Qualifications

• Experience with propulsion or initiation systems design, testing, or qualification.
• Proven ability to write clear, technical rationales accessible to non-specialists.
• Experience evaluating model outputs in safety/aspect-performance contexts.
