Qualifications
8 years of experience with a BS/BA, 6 with an MS/MA, or 3 with a PhD.
Aerospace, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering degree is preferred.
Travel up to 25% may be required.
Responsibilities
Perform time-sensitive risk assessments of propulsion hardware.
Establish and validate life limits for safety-critical components.
Analyze mission data to validate engine life-prediction algorithms.
Develop proposals for new testing technologies and modeling capabilities.
