Job summary

Maania Consultancy Services LLC is seeking an experienced propulsion engineer with a strong background in pressure control and fluid systems design to contribute to critical propulsion projects. The role requires hands-on design, verification, and collaboration with vendors to meet milestones.

Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years in aerospace or mechanical engineering, with SolidWorks proficiency and knowledge of propulsion-related fluids and materials, and must be eligible for U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in pressure control and fluid systems design.
• Hands-on experience with propellant feed system design, COPVS, valves, regulators, filters, manifolds and instrumentation.
• Expertise in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer in propulsion systems.
• Experience with oxygen compatibility requirements and assessments.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends to meet critical milestones.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to security requirements.
• Background check and drug screening prior to employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or related Engineering.

Job description

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones.
• 7 or more years of relevant experience with demonstrated depth in pressure control and fluid systems design.
• Significant hands-on experience with propellant feed system design, development, qualification and integration, including COPVS, valves, regulators, filters, manifolds and instrumentation.
• Expertise in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer with demonstrated application to propulsion systems.
• Experience with oxygen compatibility requirements and assessments.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors on technical requirements, design verification, cost and schedule performance.
• 3D modeling software experience: SolidWorks preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Aerospace, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline required.
