Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a Director of Propulsion Engineering to lead the development of next-generation propulsion systems across our spacecraft and missile defense portfolio. You will own the technical vision and manage the testing strategies.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in propulsion systems, strong leadership skills, and is passionate about the space and defense industry.

Comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary ranging from $190,000 to $320,000.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in spacecraft or defense propulsion systems.
  • 5 years in a technical leadership or people management role.
  • Demonstrated system development experience across full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical vision for propulsion systems from concept through flight.
  • Ensure effective execution of propulsion testing campaigns.
  • Build and manage high-performing propulsion engineering teams.
