Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering or related technical discipline with progressive experience.
• Extensive engineering expertise and application of principles with ability to plan and lead workloads.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills enabling interface with other departments and professionals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• Willingness to work extended hours and work independently or in a team.
• Experience managing design gates SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR and MRR.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical directions to design or engineering staff and lead a team of engineers.
• Develop innovative designs and design modifications to achieve complex objectives.
• Prepare statements of work and basis of estimates for various efforts.
• Produce integrated master schedules and coordinate with suppliers and procurement.
• Serve as the prime technical contact on small contracts or single components projects.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
