Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach is seeking a Responsible Engineer to own combustion hardware from design through manufacturing, testing, qualification and flight. This rare end-to-end ownership spans propulsion components in a fast-moving aerospace program.

You’ll coordinate across disciplines, apply thermodynamics and fluids fundamentals, and help push Terran R engine development toward mass production. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field.
• Experience working in the development of propulsion components.
• Experience applying engineering fundamentals in thermodynamics, thermal, structural, and fluids.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned combustion hardware from design through manufacturing, testing, qualification and flight.
• Coordinate across disciplines and maintain accountability for hardware decisions.
• Collaborate with the Propulsion team to enable future engine modifications.
