Job summary
PBS Aerospace in Georgia is seeking engineers to join a fast-growing defense-focused team powering advanced drones and interceptors. You will own propulsion initiatives, develop and maintain drawings and technical reports for turbomachinery, and support the installation of gas turbine systems in diverse applications.
Cross‑functional collaboration with design, manufacturing and quality teams is essential. A BS in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering and 0–5+ years of hardware experience are
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering required
- 0–5+ years hardware experience preferred
- Creo and GD&T knowledge desired
- Experience with turbomachinery and gas turbine concepts
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities
- Own propulsion initiatives of varying complexity and duration
- Develop and maintain drawings, specifications and reports for turbomachinery
- Support root cause investigations related to service difficulties
- Assist supply chain with technical support for manufacturing suppliers
- Develop and execute test plans for engine systems
- Analyze performance data to support design decisions
- Lead cross-functional meetings with design, manufacturing and quality teams
