Tiberius Aerospace is seeking a hands-on Propulsion Engineer in California to develop, integrate, test, and qualify propulsion systems for advanced air vehicles and precision‑strike programs.

You will work across propulsion architecture, components, feed systems, ignition, thermal management, interfaces, ground and flight testing, and production transitions. This is a hardware‑focused role requiring strong hands-on skills and the drive to push propulsion hardware from concept to flight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Aero/Mech/Chemical).
• 3+ years propulsion-development, integration, or test experience.
• Experience developing or testing propulsion hardware.

Responsabilités

• Develop propulsion architectures and subsystem concepts for air vehicles and precision‑strike systems.
• Perform first-principles calculations and numerical analysis of propulsion performance.
• Model thrust, impulse, mass flow, combustion, pressure, temperature, and efficiency.
• Balance design trades for vehicle performance, mass, packaging, manufacturability, reliability, cost, schedule.
• Define propulsion requirements and subsystem interfaces.
• Design propulsion components, interfaces, mounts, feed systems, ignition hardware, thermal systems.
• Evaluate propulsion performance across operating envelopes.
• Support materials selection and thermal-management decisions.
