Job summary

Rail Events Productions Inc. is seeking a Props & Décor Supervisor for THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride in Oklahoma City.

You will collaborate with the Design team, Production Staff, and on-site management during rehearsals, load-in, performances, and load-out to manage props and scenic decor. You will ensure prop integrity, oversee pre-setting, repair, and alterations, and support Wardrobe and backstage operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in props management and repair.
• DIY, craft, sewing, and repair skills.
• Theatrical technician experience.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team with production staff.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain props & scenic decor.
• Construct/alter/repair props and décor as needed.
• Oversee pre-setting and usage of props for each performance.
• Assist Wardrobe with costume items as necessary.
• Maintain artistic integrity of prop/decor designs.
• Assist with setting/removal of food products.
• Collaborate with production to prep backstage spaces.
• Work with the team during rehearsals to accommodate changes.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and promote a positive environment.
