Position Overview


As a Trainee, you will be responsible for learning and assisting with the safety, quality, training, development, and productivity of personnel on your shift.


Responsibilities


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Corrugator, converting, and finishing dept.

  • Supporting the management of the department for safe and efficient operation

  • Observing and assessing the performance and training of operating personnel to identify areas for improvement

  • Participating in training, development, and feedback sessions for personnel

  • Analyzing department performance data to identify ongoing improvement opportunities

  • Enforcing safe work practices and participating in daily safety discussions

  • Providing quality direction to personnel under supervision

  • Assisting in leading monthly department meetings, covering topics such as quality, productivity, process improvements, and safety
