Job summary

Talisman in partnership with an established proprietary trading firm seeks a Portfolio Manager to run risk on their own capital with full autonomy over the book. This is a risk-taking seat with attributable P&L in dollars, not asset-management-style performance.

You will run your own book, take directional and relative value positions, and manage risk in real time with sizing and hedging. A competitive base comes with a meaningful profit split on what you generate.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of profitable P&L in dollars.
• Experience running your own risk rather than executing for others.
• Depth in one or more listed products or strategies.
• Comfort with data and execution tooling.
• Track record of performing in a high pressure, results driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Run your own book and risk with full discretion over strategy and sizing.
• Take directional and relative value positions across chosen products.
• Manage risk in real time, including sizing, hedging and adjusting exposure through changing conditions.
• Develop and scale your own strategies without a fixed house model.
