Job summary

Trader Hire is seeking experienced proprietary traders to trade equities and options using firm capital in a fully remote environment. You will develop and refine trading strategies with coaching and risk controls while enjoying full autonomy over your trading day.

This 1099 contractor role offers performance-based pay with profit splits between 65% and 90%, starting capital up to $50,000 and potential to grow to $500,000+. All work remotely across the U.S. and internationally.

Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on experience trading derivatives or currency markets.
• Solid understanding of execution quality, slippage, and fee impact on results.
• Ability to operate inside firm risk guidelines while maintaining trading autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute high-probability options setups across U.S. listed equity markets.
• Use options Greeks to construct positions with deliberate exposures.

• Review fills, P&L, and execution quality daily to refine trading process.
• Keep an organized trade journal capturing quantitative and qualitative observations.

Position Overview

We are hiring proprietary traders to trade equities and options using firm-allocated capital. You will develop, test, and refine your personal trading strategies across stocks and options markets with structured risk management and professional coaching support in a fully remote environment.

Location: Honolulu, HI

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Experience Level: 2+ years trading or managing investments

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and execute high-probability options setups across U.S. listed equity markets
• Use options Greeks (delta, gamma, theta, vega) to construct positions with deliberate exposures
• Apply portfolio-level risk controls to manage concentration, correlation, and drawdown
• Review fills, P&L, and execution quality daily to refine your trading process
• Keep an organized trade journal capturing both quantitative and qualitative observations
• Participate in regular peer reviews and trader development sessions as desired
