Job summary

Maverick Currencies, the foreign exchange, metals, and cryptocurrency division of Maverick Trading, is hiring self-directed traders to manage firm-funded accounts under a performance-based independent contractor agreement. This is a production role for traders who want to operate professionally inside a structured, rules-based program, not a sales, analyst, or client-facing position.

The role is fully remote and open to candidates in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Eligible to contract as an independent contractor in US, Canada, or UK.
• Knowledge of chart structure, support/resistance, and indicators.
• Ability to follow a defined process under volatile conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trade firm-funded accounts in forex, metals, and crypto per trading plan.
• Operate within risk framework and position sizing rules.
• Build and refine a trading plan with a coach.
• Maintain a trade journal and submit performance reports.
• Monitor price action and macro releases relevant to instruments traded.
• Attend coaching sessions and team calls.
• Complete training before trading with full capital.

About the Role

Maverick Currencies is hiring self-directed traders to trade firm capital in the foreign exchange, metals, and cryptocurrency markets. Traders work under a performance-based independent contractor agreement, managing a firm-funded account within defined risk parameters. This is a production role for people who want to trade professionally inside a structured, rules-based program, not a sales, analyst, or client-facing position.

About the Role

This is a fully remote position. You can trade from anywhere with a reliable connection, and there is no on-site requirement at any point. Open to candidates located in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Trade firm-funded accounts in forex, metals, and cryptocurrency markets according to an approved written trading plan
• Operate within the firm's risk framework, including daily and maximum drawdown limits and position sizing rules
• Build, document, test, and refine a trading plan in coordination with an assigned coach
• Maintain a detailed trade journal and submit performance reports for periodic review
• Monitor price action, market structure, and macroeconomic releases relevant to the instruments you trade
• Participate in scheduled coaching sessions, trade reviews, and team calls
• Complete the firm's training and evaluation program before trading at full capital allocation

Requirements

• Eligible to contract as an independent contractor in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom
• Working knowledge of technical analysis, including chart structure, support and resistance, and common indicators
• Demonstrated ability to follow a defined process consistently under volatile conditions
• Comfortable with 100% remote work, regular written reporting, and receiving direct coaching feedback
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated home workspace available during your chosen market hours
• Prior trading experience in forex, metals, or cryptocurrency is preferred; structured training is provided
• Familiarity with platforms such as TradingView or Interactive Brokers TWS is helpful but not required

Compensation

This is an independent contractor position compensated through a share of net trading profits generated on firm capital, tiered by performance. There is no base salary or hourly wage. Full contract terms, risk parameters, and program details are reviewed with candidates during the interview process.
