Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mining, Mechanical or Electrical Eng or equivalent is required.
• 4 years’ experience in engineering design, machine application, mining industry is desirable; PE not required but pursuing is a plus.
• Experience with CAD tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to OE quote requests with proposals including drawings, specs, and pricing.
• Understand existing equipment designs and determine when Engineered-to-Order solutions are needed.
• Generate CAD drawings, BOMs, performance calculations, and cost analyses to validate proposed solutions.
• Field questions from Sales, customers, and Production Engineering to execute OE orders.
• Pursue learning and development for mutual benefit of self and organization.
• Support engineering communication to ensure design and safety standards are met.
• Help streamline engineering processes for design, development, and support of products and services.
• Support Change Management to achieve desired organizational outcomes.
