General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Proposal Writer Expert (Part Time On Call) to lead the management sections of federal proposals valued from $100M to $1B+. You will collaborate with SMEs to gather past performance data, craft technical and management volumes, and ensure precision across all proposal materials.

This remote, on-call role requires 15+ years of federal proposal experience, APMP/PMP certifications preferred, and a track record as a Volume Lead or Lead

• Bachelor's degree required; in lieu of degree, 4+ years of work experience, training, education and/or certifications will be considered.
• 15+ years of federal proposal writing experience for a government contractor or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience as a Volume Lead, Book Boss, or Lead Management Writer.

• Analyze RFP requirements, and participates in color team reviews.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and work leadership to less experienced Proposals Writers.
• Participate in the continuing quality improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Required Experience : 15+ years of federal proposal writing for a government contractor or equivalent technical experience.

• Required Technical Skills: Experience as a Volume Lead, Book Boss, or Lead Management Writer.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $63.75 - $86.25. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
