*Position is open to Remote, Preferably near one of our office locations. LIBERTY offices are located in Irvine, CA/Las Vegas, NV/Oklahoma City, OK/Tampa, FL/Uniondale, NY.

This position is responsible for developing proposal content for government (Medicaid and Medicare Advantage) and commercial request for proposals (RFPs) within submission deadlines. Works closely with executive, account management, operations, legal, finance, and other functions to develop content and supporting documentation that represents LIBERTY business processes accurately and in compliance with RFP requirements.

  • Review request for proposals (RFPs) and related documents furnished by the procuring agency; analyze to understand and capture specific operational, administrative and proposal requirements
  • Interview subject matter experts (SMEs) in business functions throughout the organization to determine operational approach to satisfy the requirements of the RFP
  • Prepare concise written responses and assemble supporting documentation for each assigned area, within LIBERTY style guide requirements and in accordance with RFP guidelines and timeline
  • Work with graphic designer to develop visual aids to support written content
  • Present information to, and effectively communicate with, senior leadership
  • Participate in individual and group proposal review sessions with senior leadership and other key individuals; incorporate changes and improvements to proposals
  • Copyedit and finalize proposal content
  • Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
  • Maintain documentation in electronic document library in accordance with LIBERTY procedure
  • Perform other business development duties as assigned or determined appropriate
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • BA/BS preferably in English, Business Administration, Communication, Marketing; or equivalent successful work experience
  • 3+ years of Request for Proposal (RFP) writing experience including: conducting interviews, reviewing products/services, creating strategies, collaborating/leveraging stakeholders and/or presenting proposals
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in dental insurance
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial products

Specific Skills/Knowledge:

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Knowledge and application of English grammar, composition, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational, time management and project management skills with good multi-tasking abilities
  • Knowledge of dental products, policies and practices, including claims, eligibility, customer service, dentist networks and underwriting preferred
  • Strong customer focus, functional technical skills, planning, priority-setting, accountability, teamwork and interpersonal skills

Compensation:

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $76,389 - $99,305 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at LIBERTY, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
