In this role, you will participate in and organize marketing activities for the accomplishment of proposal production, public relations/advertising, and marketing/sales objectives of the Government Design unit. The primary skills and capabilities required to execute this position are collaborative teamwork, avid learning, and strong communication.

Job Responsibilities:

    Develop, design and produce qualifications, proposals, presentations, award submittals and other marketing assignments:
    • Review RFP/RFQ and client's needs
    • Compose an outline of criteria/responsibilities
    • Assign responsibilities/monitor deadlines
    • Produce content which best meets client's criteria
    • Write/edit content
    • Lead kickoff and quality review meetings
  • Participate in the planning, development and execution of marketing campaigns/ social media including:
    • Collect and analyze relevant market data
    • Assemble detailed data reports on specific market verticals and clients across multiple industries
    • Utilize market data to create and disseminate targeted messaging across multiple platforms
    • Research and analyze keywords, develop content, develop landing pages and track click-thru rates, conversion rates and overall ROI
  • Design and edit marketing/business development documents (i.e. digital and print assets) and participate in developing the marketing strategy.
  • Research, organize and prepare analytics/reports.
  • Coordinate public relations, advertising and other outside events (i.e. tradeshows) as required, which may require some travel.
  • Track and maintain internal group database of project descriptions, resumes, standard content, clients, subconsultants, contacts (i.e. CRM).
  • Coordinate and create divisional content for the website.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (marketing, communications, English, journalism, business administration or technical field)
  • 2 - 8 years of relevant experience, Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry experience preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (experience with InDesign preferred)
  • Project Descriptions/Writing Narratives for Federal Market Strong background in working with highly technical compliance-based proposals
  • Familiarity with SAM, PIEE, SF330s, and DoD
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Organizational and time management skills, multi-tasking, and prioritizing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing capabilities
  • Extremely detail oriented and acute attention to accuracy
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of marketing and business development principles
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of AEC industry terminology and procedures

Environmental factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

Salary Range:


The base salary range for this position is $60,000 -$85,000. The actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
