Job description

Fehr & Peers is seeking a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to join our team of professionals passionate about improving communities and contributing to driving innovation in the transportation consulting industry. In this role, you'll work closely with project managers, principals, and other marketing and business services professionals. Your primary responsibility will be crafting high-quality proposals that address client needs. Through close collaboration, you’ll make sure our proposals are polished and stand out to help us win competitive pursuits.

You'll also have the opportunity to foster relationships with fellow marketing professionals within our company, as well as external teaming partners with whom we collaborate. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the coordination of marketing efforts from pre-RFP release to time of submittal (i.e., proposals, interview preparation, pre-bids, resume updates, qualification development, and weekly meetingsabout business pursuits)
• Collaborate with project managers, senior management, and other business services staff to plan, coordinate, and produce qualifications, proposals, and presentations, and meet relevant deadlines
• Take ownership of the proposal process and commit to ensuring proposals comply with the applicable RFP/RFQ submission instructionsand requirements
• Coordinate the receipt of necessary information from internal clients, external consultants, and other team members to include in proposal and presentation materials
• Contribute to content development (writing, editing, proofreading) for qualifications, proposals, and presentations
• Use our company’s brand style guide and design resources to create attractive and effective graphics and documents for marketing pursuits that compete well with others
• Update and maintain databases of project opportunities, project descriptions, resumes, references, and qualifications materials

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of proposal experience
• Effective writing, editing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and exceptional attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in graphic design, writing, and template management
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred, but not required
• Experience within the A/E/C industry strongly preferred
• A portfolio demonstrating your visual design capabilities is requested, but not required.

$65,000 - $90,000 a year

Placement within the stated pay range will be determined based upon education, experience, and qualifications.
