Proposal Management Associate

This role will report to the Proposal Strategy Lead and will support the entire lifecycle of RFx and Renewals in the Core and Enterprise market spaces. The Proposal Management Associate is responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders on specific prospect/client opportunities and owning the production and completion of these deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales (Core & Enterprise market segments) and Client Success (Emerging, Channel, & Core) teams throughout the opportunity and renewal lifecycles by:
    • Proposal Development: Lead the creation, coordination, and submission of high-quality proposals, ensuring they are tailored to meet client requirements and align with EDH value proposition and company standards.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Client Success, Analytics, Network, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance, to gather necessary information and insights for proposal content.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and best practices for proposal strategies.
    • Project Management: Oversee the entire proposal lifecycle, from initial opportunity assessment to final submission, ensuring all deadlines are met and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
    • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure proposals are accurate, compelling, and free of errors, while continuously seeking ways to improve proposal effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Support Proposal Team specific initiatives, including:
    • Content Library Management: Maintain and update the internal content library, ensuring all templates, standard responses, and reference materials are current, accurate, and easily accessible for the team.
    • Process Improvements: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of proposal development, incorporating feedback from team members and leveraging best practices.
    • Project Management and Tracking: Utilize Jira to manage and track proposal projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks, clear communication among team members, and visibility into project status and progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in proposal management, sales operations, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or technology sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), and familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
