SYNNEX seeks a Proposal Manager to lead the proposal process, ensuring inclusivity and collaboration with diverse teams. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to manage strategic actions towards successful contract awards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and experience in proposal development, thriving in a dynamic environment focused on building diverse perspectives.
About the role:
The Proposal Manager works under the direction of the Senior Proposal Manager to identify the resources required to pursue contract opportunities, oversee bid strategies, pricing, teaming, and proposal production. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply. The successful candidate will manage the transition from the business opportunity to proposal development to award, ensuring an inclusive approach throughout the process.
What you'll do:
Collaborate with DLT Sales, Technology Vendors, and Partners to seek and identify strategic opportunities; and position DLT and the Partner network for net new contract awards, valuing diverse perspectives.
Work with Stakeholders to define win strategies, competitive assessments, and pricing strategy discussions, while preparing and completing strategic action plans, ROI, and risk assessments that consider various viewpoints.
Schedule and conduct capture/proposal kick-off meetings, fostering an environment where all voices are heard and valued.
Produce well-written, compliant, and competitive volumes/slides incorporating win themes, discriminators, and opportunity insights, ensuring accessibility and clarity for all audiences.
Coordinate and lead proposal events such as strategy meetings, pricing meetings, color team reviews, etc., promoting collaboration and inclusivity.
Communicate activities and opportunities to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and open lines of communication.
Other related duties as assigned, with an emphasis on adaptability and teamwork.
What we are looking for:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in proposal development, with a focus on fostering inclusive practices.
Knowledgeable in the capture and lifecycle process, with an understanding of how diverse teams contribute to success.
Highly motivated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation skills to individuals and groups, internally and externally, respecting diverse communication styles.
Strong negotiation skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and mutual understanding.
Strong writing skills to include the development of content that exceeds solicitation requirements while incorporating key win themes, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.
Strong proficiency with office automation tools, including MS Office, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
