Job description

Anchor QEA is seeking a full-time, experienced Proposal Manager in Daphne, AL, or Irvine, CA (or local to any Anchor QEA office nationwide). This position will focus on leading development and delivery of high-quality marketing proposals and statements of qualification (SOQs). This job does not offer relocation funds.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the delivery of high-quality marketing proposals and SOQs, including:
  • Developing clear, concise, and compelling strategies and messaging for pursuits and interviews
  • Preparing proposal outlines, concepts, and formats for maximum scoring
  • Developing detailed proposal schedules and managing multiple deadlines
  • Collaborating with proposal teams to create winning strategies and identify benefits
  • Preparing proposal content such as resumes, company info, and project descriptions
  • Improving proposal and production processes for efficiency and quality
  • Leading marketing training sessions for technical staff
  • Supporting business development efforts as needed
  • Working during evenings and weekends to meet deadlines and support operations across time zones
  • Perform all job functions virtually with stable Wi-Fi.
  • Qualifications
    • Extensive knowledge of A/E/C industry marketing fundamentals, terminology, and delivery methods
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
    • Presentation skills for interview preparation
    • Experience leading business development and marketing initiatives
    • Understanding of company branding and QA/QC processes
    • Desired: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), copyediting, database knowledge, Unanet CRM
    • Must be team-oriented, flexible, reliable, and responsive
    • Ability to work remotely and independently
    • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years or, without a degree, 12 years of relevant experience in A/E/C
