Job summary

Nimblemind.ai is seeking a Proposal Development Engineer to support technical proposal development from its base in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in engineering, with exposure to feasibility studies and technical proposals. The role involves developing customer-specific proposals, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure project success. This position includes approximately 20–25% travel, including international.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with exposure to feasibility studies or technical proposal development.
• Strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguity typical of early-stage projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical and economic proposals using process simulation tools.
• Perform CAPEX, OPEX, and Levelized Cost of Hydrogen evaluations.
• Prepare technical documentation and respond to clarifications during evaluations.
• Improve internal tools, workflows, and assumptions for efficiency.
• Assist in developing FEL deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs.
• Work with various engineering teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
