Job summary

HW3 is seeking a Proposal engineer for Power and Water Projects to support proposal development for new generation and renewable power applications. This role requires working with multiple teams to shape technical and commercial proposals that meet customer needs.

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, sales, and project teams, travel up to 15%, and work four days on-site at Pennsylvania, North Carolina, or Houston.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare DCS proposals for power industry projects, including new generation, retrofits, and renewable power applications.
• Define proposal strategies aligned with customer needs, business goals, and market insight.
• Collaborate across engineering, sales, project, and global teams to validate technical feasibility and solution fit.
• Engage directly with customers to understand application requirements and communicate capability.

Proposal engineer – Power and Water Projects

Location: Pennsylvania, North Carolina, or Houston

On-site Requirement: 4 days on site

We are looking for someone with a background in control systems and/or process operations to join a North America Power and Water Projects team.

This role will play a key part in supporting project proposals for customers across new generation and renewable power applications.

The successful candidate will help prepare technical and commercial proposals, shape proposal strategy, and work closely with internal teams and customers to deliver competitive, cost-effective solutions.
