Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.
• 4.5+ years of experience in public accounting tax, property tax, or SALT.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with CCH Intelliconnect, RIA Checkpoint, and/or BNA Tax research software.
• Current CPA, ASA, CMEA, CMI – Property Tax (IPT) certification, or JD/LLM.

Responsibilities

• Lead property tax engagement teams and oversee multi-jurisdictional clients.
• Maintain tax calendars and ensure timely compliance and deliverables.
• Manage fixed asset and inventory reconciliations for accurate reporting.
• Direct preparation and filing of personal property renditions across jurisdictions.
• Review property tax bills and identify overcharges or savings opportunities.
• Coordinate assessment protests and jurisdictional appeals.
• Guide valuation studies and related consulting projects.
• Mentor property tax team members and foster growth.
• Develop relationships with clients through strategic advisory support.
